I just skimmed through an article about gays being dissatisfied and demanding more from President Obama.\u00a0 Mentioned in passing was a Latinos for Obama event.\u00a0 No, I’m not even going to bother linking to it, just take my word that it exists.\u00a0 Now I’m not saying all gays and Latinos are malcontents, not at all.\u00a0 But it’s a safe bet any of them involved in a “…for Obama” event are pissed off about something.\u00a0 They’re not holding fundraisers out of gratitude for the bounty available to them in this fine country.<\/p>\n
Sometimes the Democrat party will latch onto a demographic of malcontents that doesn’t even exist, and of course the media will lap it up like half starved kittens given a bowl of milk.\u00a0 In 1996, the media were happily reporting how “soccer moms” were for Clinton.\u00a0 Soccer moms were harried mothers who drove their kids to soccer games in SUVs, who for some reason thought Clinton could help them out.\u00a0 Help them out of their clothes, perhaps, but malcontents never think things through very well.\u00a0 (Soccer moms were the only people who could drive SUVs with media approval, by the way.\u00a0 There are always perks with being a Democrat party-approved demographic.)<\/p>\n
Of course, the mainstream media confers credibility on who can attract the most malcontents.\u00a0 We’ve all heard them tut-tut about how the Republicans have trouble with the _____ vote, you can fill in the blank.\u00a0 The _____ are always people who are disgruntled about what government isn’t doing for them yet.\u00a0 Ultimately, it means that people who are satisfied with the country have less cred than those who aren’t.\u00a0 Kinda strange once you drill down into it and see it from this angle, isn’t it?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
