{"id":373,"date":"2012-06-30T01:53:08","date_gmt":"2012-06-30T01:53:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.clw54.com\/blog\/wordpress\/?p=373"},"modified":"2012-06-30T01:53:08","modified_gmt":"2012-06-30T01:53:08","slug":"sure-its-a-tax-but-dont-expect-to-hear-the-liberalmedia-call-it-that","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.clw54.com\/blog\/wordpress\/?p=373","title":{"rendered":"Sure It&#8217;s a Tax, But Don&#8217;t Expect To Hear The Liberalmedia Call It That"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Because they won&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>In the wake of Chief Justice Roberts&#8217; decision that Obamacare is constitutional as a tax, but not under the Commerce Clause, one would think people will start calling it a tax because it&#8217;s unconstitutional otherwise.\u00a0 Now I&#8217;m not a constitutional expert and can&#8217;t tell you what this all means, but I do know how the mainstream (lamestream) media operates.\u00a0 They&#8217;ll call it a penalty or something else, but not a tax.<\/p>\n<p>One would think that they &#8220;can&#8217;t have it both ways,&#8221; as is often said when the media is in a situation like this.\u00a0 Well, they can and will have it both ways.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s how.\u00a0 The mainstream media simply uses the same terminology as the Democrat party.\u00a0 If the Democrat party calls it a penalty, the mainstream media will call it a penalty.\u00a0 To sound objective they might report that Republicans claim it&#8217;s a tax, but when they call it a penalty, they won&#8217;t attribute it to the Democrat party.<\/p>\n<p>Give it a week or two, and most of the public will be calling it whatever the media (Democrat party) calls it, and the tax argument will be relegated to birther status.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Because they won&#8217;t.
