That one seems to be out there in force.\u00a0 Paul Ryan is “wonky.”\u00a0 Okay, it sounds bad, or somewhat geeky.\u00a0 But stop and think about what characteristics he has that makes him wonky.\u00a0 He can talk about the issues, such as budgets, and make it so people can understand what he’s talking about.\u00a0 He can also eviscerate BHO when he’s in a situation where he has the floor.\u00a0 In essence, you can listen to Paul Ryan and know more than you did after he’s done speaking.\u00a0 He can speak in lucid paragraphs without staring back and forth at twin teleprompters like he’s watching a tennis match from a dugout.<\/p>\n
Now I ask you this.\u00a0 Can you name a member of the Democrat party that you can learn stuff from?\u00a0 Go on, take as long as you like.\u00a0 I can’t.\u00a0 I can recite bumper stickers that would look normal in Berkeley after one has done talking, but they’re meant to be catchy, and vague enough that they’re not committing to anything that can be used against them.\u00a0 There isn’t one Democrat party member that can speak intelligently on issues.\u00a0 They’re just not wonky enough.<\/p>\n
Supposedly Biden is another wonk, like Ryan, but he’s a gaffe generator of the first magnitude and just doesn’t seem all that terribly bright.\u00a0 Obama might even be smarter.\u00a0 My guess is that the White House is faxing out talking points stating how Biden is strong on policy and the media is, as usual, transcribing it.\u00a0 We’ll find out in the debate.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
