\u201cYou say you want to provide a government that leaves us alone; quite frankly, I don\u2019t want that,\u201d the student said. \u201cI want a government that is going to help me.\u201d<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is what a kid told Senator Rand Paul at a speech he gave at Howard University.\u00a0 He then said this:<\/p>\n

\u201cDo you, Sen. Rand Paul, have a formulated solution to come up with new American values so that the citizens of this nation have a worth more than dead presidents and Ben Franklin?\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I’m not sure what this means, but I’ll attempt to address it.\u00a0 This kid doesn’t want government to leave him alone.\u00a0 Well, it’s not going to.\u00a0 Here’s what will happen.\u00a0 Someday the kid will have a job (well, that might be stretch).\u00a0 If he does, he’ll have a bank account and he’ll have been voting all this time.\u00a0 Voting for the Democrat party, undoubtedly.\u00a0 And during that time, the Democrat party will have raised taxes on the rich because of five trillion dollar deficits, and they will have figured out there is a crisis the likes of which they’ve never seen.\u00a0 So what will they do?<\/p>\n

They’ll see that this kid has a bank account with money in it and they won’t even ask the kid if he needs it.\u00a0 They’ll reach in and take it.\u00a0 The first time they’ll say it’s a one time deal.\u00a0 But it won’t be.\u00a0 They’ll take, say, ten percent.\u00a0 Then they’ll take another ten percent.\u00a0 You can take ten percent nearly indefinitely because the ten percent gets smaller every time.\u00a0 But they’ll see it gets smaller and go for fifteen percent.\u00a0 The kid will say, hey, this isn’t fair.<\/p>\n

Well, tough shit, kid.\u00a0 You can’t do anything about it, because they’ll place limits on withdrawals just so the money will still be there for their taking.\u00a0 But wait!\u00a0 The 4th Amendment says they can’t do this.\u00a0 Well, guess what.\u00a0 Who will have been appointing Supreme Court Justices?\u00a0 Right, Democrats.\u00a0 They’ll say it’s fine to do everything they’re doing to you.\u00a0 Just what is the Constitution, anyway?\u00a0 Just some obsolete living document written by dead white men, and we know that discredits it.\u00a0 And you’ll blame it all on the last Republican president, Bush, or Paul, or whoever it might be.<\/p>\n
