J.C., that is simply awesome! No kidding.

When they wrote the book of cool, you had to be on the cover my friend. My respect for you knows no bounds. I am honored to know you, and your father was blessed to have you as a son. I just hope he knew that before he left us. If not, I'm sure he knows now.

Thanks. Actually, it's a celebration of the life of a man that did a good job while here. While he's loved and missed, this stone is a reminder that he made an impact and difference in the lives of those he touched. Appreciation for a job well done extends beyond the grave.

Thanks everyone.

After I finished, I sat there and such a feeling of peace came over me. The stone has sat for 1 year with just the initials, birth and death year. I hate leaving anything unfinished. It's such a beautiful spot, I wish he could have seen the view in person. But, like I've said, he always loved my pictures from the high places.

Goose, thanks for the POTD.

That is an awesome stone, 100 years from now someone will be looking at it wondering what the story is behind it. A great legacy.
