Yes, we have a leap second this fine evening.  Supposedly the earth is slowing down, there seems to be a consensus on that.  It might even be true, who knows.  True or not, it means Obama gets an extra second in office, whether it’s four years or eight.  Now it will be four years and one second or eight years and one second.  If he’s installed for life, it won’t make a difference of course.

This gives us extra incentive to get rid of him in November, before the scientists have a consensus that we need another extra second.  It might happen before January 20, 2017.  Of course, there is a wild card:  Global warming.  Global warming might slow the earth, according to CNN.  But Scientific American says it could speed it up.  I suppose CNN considers Scientific American readers to be climate skeptics, and Scientific American considers CNN watchers to be climate skeptics, meaning damn near everybody could be a climate skeptic.

What do they think of people who don’t believe any of this nonsense?
